Day Fifty-seven

Day 57 #isolationcreation⠀

How lucky we have been to inhabit this little private garden, boxed away from the world with only my studio and our apartment windows overlooking. We spent Easter out here, Eloise planted her first seeds and together we watched them grow. When confinement started the leaves on the fig tree were bare and not a single bud on the rose bush could be found. ⠀

Now, as we draw to a close this chapter of our life, Eloise and I play in the garden as we have done most days, chasing snails, trying not to eat the rocks, and smelling the roses. This time together alone with my daughter has been the best Mother’s Day gift I could have ever been given.⠀
