What an unexpected gift of bonding time this quarantine has given us. We play in the garden with no mind to the dirt that will just wash away. We get dressed up to make the day feel different from the last, dresses that hung in the closet with dreams of spring dates that are now distant memories of plans. I’ve gotten used to this domestic new normal and the things that overwhelmed me a few weeks ago are now just the way of life. As the shock of it all has been slowly absorbed, out of it bloomed this extraordinary gift, togetherness.
