Surprise, surprise, crèche was closed today for a strike but that’s ok, we got to hang out and "make something" together. It’s amazing to think about how much she’s changed since this pandemic began. She learned to walk in this very studio during #isolationcreation by pushing around the orange stock pot I sit on to compose still lives. And now, here we are months later, the same pandemic but an entirely different baby. She can run and jump, she says "please" and "merci" and though I will hold her for the rest of her life, I don’t have to hold her anymore for her to survive. Life goes on and lives on in our children. I hope I made this fun for her, she sure has for me.
