If this photograph could have a sound it would be that of a distant piano echoing through the corridors of my heart. What dreams lay in between the spaces of words, no less real than the ghostly kiss of autumn wind on your cheeks. How much space we give to the things we can’t see, can’t touch, and yet there is a tangible physicality to dreams, thoughts, ideas, slipping through your fingers like a falling leaf. People ask me, will you live in France forever? I dream to, but the wind carries no colors to warn you of her arrival and the uncertainty of the day, each day this year, makes me realize, we can never truly know anything. I sit still and the whole world continues on without me as if I am already a memory of a song we once knew...
