Day 44 #isolationcreation ⠀
When I first moved to France the woman in the one cheese shop in the village told me "Bon Dimanche" meaning good Sunday. Sunday here has always been a special day. Everything is closed, everyone is still, all is quiet. It’s a day of rest, a day of peace and here you really feel that. ⠀
Many people have asked me what quarantine in France is like and honestly, it is like everyday is "Bon Dimanche". Quiet but peaceful. Beautiful and patient. There is an overall feeling that tomorrow will come and with it, all the things to do, but that’s not for this day. Just let it be and in it, enjoy it. ⠀
These gorgeous irises were a surprise delivery from the local shopkeeper’s garden @lamaisondinesenprovence. I never knew irises until I moved to France, I never belonged to a community of people either. I have fallen in love with both. 💜⠀
Merci @lamaisondinesenprovence pour partager à nouveau vos belles fleurs avec moi. Ils sont ma plus grande joie.
