Duvelleroy:

Billotey was the official floral paintor for the original Maison. He would paint soft evanscent floral compositions directly on hand-fans.

Today, the American photographer Jamie Beck based in Provence revives this heritage for Duvelleroy. Her photographs invite to change our pace, slow down and appreciate the poetry of a simple flower or fruit as seasons go by. Using classic composition rules, Jamie's photographs encapsulate a very personal and contemporary quest to bring enchantment back to our daily lives. This balance between tradition and modernity, as well as everyday poetry echo Duvelleroy's world.
