Day 34 #isolationcreation ⠀
⠀
News from the United States is difficult. My father messaged me this morning, two of his coworkers have Coronavirus. I stood in the bathroom and cried, it feels like we are on a roller coaster ride we can not get off of. ⠀
⠀
I floated through the day, in my mind it felt the way it does when you sink to the bottom of a swimming pool and look back up at the world above. Suspended and peaceful yet not belonging to the world you inhabit. You look up at Earth, you can reach up and touch it... yet it seems worlds away. You live, for a moment, only in-between. ⠀
⠀
My neighbors told me when you die of COVID-19 it is not unlike drowning. My heart breaks for the mothers, fathers, grandparents, children, siblings, friends and family who have suffered this way. ⠀
⠀
Today I am drowned in emotion. How fragile we are, how deep our waters flow in love.
